The group still continues to operate in the sector as wholesaler (Konya Kumas and Yesilkaya Kumas) and manufacturer (VIP Giyim Corporation).

 

Importance of wholesale textile business has declined in overall business activities of the group. Whereas the manufacturing of ready-made men’s clothes (VIP Giyim Corp.) is important part of group’s textile business. The company’s manufacturing facilities are located in Darıca-Izmit, which was built in 1980’s.

 

VIP Giyim is exporting to 12 countries and companies like Calvin Klein, Versace, Ermenegildo Zegna are some of the important clients. The sales revenue of the company is expected to be US$ 200 million in 2009. Of this sales revenue, around 60 percent will be realized from export markets

The company is well known for its high quality and timely production. Further growth in sales revenue is expected to be realized in the coming years.
